Daniel Bwala, an aide to Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the PDP in the February 25 election, on Monday, Alleged that the presidency is planning to arrest and silence him.
Bwala, who said this in a post on his official X account, revealed that he got the information from a credible source that they are planning to use security agencies and also build up series of allegations against him that he won’t be able to escape.
News about Nigeria reports that he also stated that the allegedly planned arrest was because, according to them, he was making this administration uncomfortable.
His post reads: “Last night I got a credible intelligence that some key people around the seat of power (Presidential Aso Vila) of this government are planning to use security agencie (s) to arrest me and take me into custody on a trumped-up allegations in other to rubbish me and silence me. That I am making them and the government uncomfortable.”
Bwala, therefore, called on the Nigerian Police, other security agencies, media houses and politicians, including President Bola Tinubu, Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi to know of the purported evil against him.
He added that he was not surprised at the alleged evil plans against him because that is what happens whenever anyone becomes an opposition.
“Let the world @NIGERIANPOLICE3 @SaharaReporters @OfficialDSSNG @officialEFCC @channelstv @ARISEtv @tvcnewsng @AIT_Online @CNN @BBCWorld @FBI @NCA_UK @officialABAT @KashimSM @atiku @PeterObi @ruffydfire @mrboboskie @jaketapper @YeleSowore @femigbaja @WhiteHouse @Britishparliame @USAinUK know today, that I have always known that from my stands on the same faith ticket which led to my leaving APC , and consequent posture as a political opposition, it might irk the deep state and come with persecution for what i believe in and stand for. If anything happens to me, let the world know today of their evil plans,” He wrote.
