Pastor Ituah Ighodalo, the senior pastor of Trinity House, has addressed circulating rumours about his alleged plans to marry Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw.
News About Nigeria reports that talks about his remarriage have been spreading on social media, with some even claiming that preparations for the wedding, including Aso Ebi, were already in motion.
In an interview with media personality Osayuwamen Saleh on UpgradeTV, which gained attention on Sunday, Pastor Ituah dismissed the claims.
He stated that he was unaware of any wedding plans and found the speculation amusing.
He also pointed out that social media allows people to spread false stories, often for personal gain.
He said, “I loved my wife so much. I take each day as it comes. I don’t know what the future holds. About an Aso Ebi coming out, well, not to the best of my knowledge. The problem with social media is that people feel they can do whatever they want.”
Pastor Ituah was married to the late Ibidunni Ighodalo, a former beauty queen and successful event planner, who passed away in June 2020.
The couple had adopted two children before her passing.
Since then, he has remained focused on raising his children and leading his ministry.
While he has not completely ruled out the idea of remarrying in the future, he has said he is content with his life as it is.
In a previous interview in 2023, he mentioned that his daughter had firmly expressed her disapproval of him remarrying.
However, he also stated that if he ever considered it, it would be when his children were older.
