Ologunagba said that the extension was approved by the party’s National Working Committee (NWC) under its power under the party’s constitution.

Ologunagba added that the deadline for the submission of completed states’ executive forms had also been extended from June 21 to July 5.

He advised all party leaders, stakeholders, and members to note the extension and be guided accordingly.

“By this, the sale of forms has been extended from the initial closure date of Monday, June 17, 2024, to a new date of Friday, June 28, 2024,” the statement reads.

He added that ”the last day for the submission of already completed State Executive Forms earlier scheduled for Friday, June 21, 2024, has now been extended to Friday, July 5, 2024.

“All party leaders, critical stakeholders, and teeming members should note the extension and be guided accordingly.”

In another event, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) also congratulated the Governor of Delta State, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Francis Oborevwori, as he marks his birthday today.

“Governor Oborevwori is a humble, focused, visionary, and result-oriented leader; a man of integrity and seasoned administrator who continues to demonstrate an incomparable commitment to ensuring the progress, wellbeing, and development of Delta State, the PDP, and the nation,” the party said.
