Past Administration Mismanaged Nigeria - Deputy Speaker, Kalu

The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu, has claimed that the past administration mismanaged the economy of the country, News About Nigeria reports.

He made the claim while speaking during the celebration of his 53rd birthday in his hometown of Bende, Abia State.

He noted that the current economic ordeals the country is facing are a result of the decisions of previous administrations, including the Buhari-led administration, adding that President Bola Tinubu is working hard to fix the issues and the country in general.

He appealed to Nigerians to be patient with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, stating that the president is making efforts to address the challenges he inherited and adding that his policies are beginning to yield results.

“The hardship we are passing through was not caused by this man. It’s a piled-up case of previous administrations and how they mismanaged one or two things.”

“We cannot continue to live in lies, thinking that all is well. Tinubu wants to clean up the place so that we can have a genuine livelihood that is sustainable. Let’s keep supporting and encouraging him,” he stated.

The lawmaker stated that life is all about providing care and service for humanity, and maintained that he is fulfilled by putting smiles on people’s faces, especially the downtrodden.

He maintained that the President has good plans for the South East, especially Abia State, and added that this has endeared him to the hearts of Abians.

“The product we are selling in the current administration of President Tinubu is the reason. If you are blind, are you also deaf to hear that this man has good plans for the Southeast region?

“He is doing well and that is what is attracting a lot of people to him. He helped one of their sons become the number six citizen in the country. And their son is doing well.

“Mr. President has endeared himself to the hearts of Abians, and they are beginning to see that this is where the renewed hope is. That’s why they are leaving their parties,” Kalu added.
