Oladips Finally Opens Up On Death Saga, Apologises To Nigerians

Nigerian rapper Oladipupo Oladimeji, popularly known as Oladips, has finally opened up about his death saga, News About Nigeria reports.

According to Oladips, though he didn’t die as claimed, he was truly very sick, and his sickness was not a prank.

The Nigerian rapper said this in an interview with Naija FM on Friday, where he apologised to Nigerians for the false report that he was dead.

According to him, his fake death, which has sparked so many reactions on the internet, was orchestrated by his management.

He, however, stated that though he was not the brain behind the death prank, he takes full responsibility for the false alarm and would ensure that he surrounds himself with professionals to avoid a repetition of such.

While lamenting the actions of his management, he noted that if his manager were to be a professional, he would not have put out such a piece of misleading information.

Oladips also begged his fans and followers, saying, “I will never play with people’s emotions like that. It was never a prank. I was sick sick. I am really sorry for the confusion, the false alarm, and everything. I take full responsibility.”

News About Nigeria earlier reported that Oladips’ management announced the death of the 28-year-old artiste on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, after battling an unknown ailment for two years.

Oladips, born on March 24, 1995, was a vibrant indigenous rapper from Ogun State, Nigeria.
