A TikTok user in Lagos, Nigeria, has taken to social media to express her disappointment and shock at the poor state of apartments she was shown by a real estate agent.
The lady, who remains unidentified, revealed that she was taken to an apartment in the Ogudu area of Lagos which she described as a “mess” and was priced at N1.5 million, News About Nigeria gathered.
In a video posted on social media, the lady, who was accompanied by a little boy she referred to as her baby, expressed her dissatisfaction with the state of the apartment and the fact that she had been shown worse apartments.
She then proceeded to show another apartment in the same area, which she claimed had a tiny kitchen and room that were not up to one square meter in size.
In the video, the lady wondered how she was going to create content in the apartment and revealed that the landlord was only looking for a single working-class lady to occupy the N1.2 million mini BQ.
Despite her disappointment, the TikTok user was taken to another apartment priced at N1.5 million in the same Ogudu area.
This apartment had a bad roof, and though the wardrobe and toilet were in poor condition, she said she would have managed it if the roof was okay.
The video has since gone viral, with many Nigerians expressing their outrage at the state of real estate in the country and the exorbitant prices charged for such substandard living conditions.
