BBNaija Winner Phyna Advises Single Ladies To Avoid Broke Men

Big Brother Naija Season 7 winner, Josephina Otabor, popularly known as Phyna, has accused the Dangote Group of prioritising image management over accountability following a road accident involving one of the company’s trucks, which left her sister severely injured and requiring an amputation.

Phyna alleged that the company engaged in deliberate “damage control” measures, including the removal of the truck’s plate number, instead of showing genuine concern for the victim.

She made the claims in a public statement via her social media platform, calling for immediate and transparent action from the firm.

According to her, the accident, which occurred in Benin City, Edo State, has caused severe trauma to her family, particularly her sister, whose leg was amputated as a result of the incident.

She insisted that both the truck and its driver must remain in police custody pending the outcome of investigations, warning that any attempt to release them prematurely would prompt further action from her.

“This is not about fame or influence; this is about justice,” Phyna said, noting that she would leverage every available platform to ensure accountability.

The Dangote Group has yet to issue an official statement on the allegations. The incident has drawn public attention, with many Nigerians on social media calling for corporate responsibility and transparency in the handling of the case.

The development comes at a time when the Dangote Group is in the spotlight for its expanding industrial footprint, particularly in the energy and manufacturing sectors.

However, the latest controversy underscores the heightened public expectations for ethical corporate conduct in Nigeria’s business environment.
