BBNaija’s Bambam Opens Up About Difficulty During Second Pregnancy

Former BBNaija housemate Bamike Adenibuyan, popularly known as BamBam, has recounted how her placenta detached from her baby before reaching the hospital during one of her pregnancies, News About Nigeria gathered.

BamBam, who is married to fellow ex-BBNaija housemate Teddy A, shared this in an interview with media personality, Chude Jideonwo, where she talked about her struggles with postpartum depression and preeclampsia during her pregnancies.

BamBam said in the interview that was shared on Jideonwo’s Instagram page that her second pregnancy had a negative physical impact on her, causing her to move from a size 8 to a 14/16 and causing her to have skin tags and eruptions of acne.

According to her, the second pregnancy was worse than the first, adding that she suffered from postpartum depression.

BamBam spoke briefly about the difficulties she had with her second pregnancy, such as preeclampsia and the baby’s separation from the placenta, expressing relief that early detection and treatment had avoided any problems.

“My second pregnancy was even more merciful than the first. What! Zendaya! I went from Maroon to black, I had skin tags, and I had acne breakouts. Went from size 8 to 14/16. I was in shock.

“I went through postpartum depression. I was a mess. I did not understand. I transformed literally. But I mean, look at the girl. Now you know why she did what she had to do,” she said.

Bambam thanked her husband for his support and emphasised how important it is to have a spouse who accepts all of the stages of pregnancy.

Bambam said that they attempted to have their second child abroad but faced setbacks that forced them to use a local hospital.

“We tried going to have her abroad, but there were a lot of setbacks, so we had to settle.

“And the hospital we got, thank God, they were so diligent. Imagine they didn’t do my urinalysis test, and the doctor didn’t call at the time that he did,” she said.
