Davido’s logistic manager Isreal DMW has shared a chilling account of his encounter with kidnappers many years ago.
In a post on his Instagram story, while celebrating his birthday, Israel shared the harrowing experience and expressed gratitude to God for sparing his life. The incident occurred in 2001 when Israel, along with three other individuals, was travelling from Lagos to Ibadan.
According to his post on his Instagram Story, they embarked on their journey by boarding a vehicle, but their trip took a terrifying turn when they were kidnapped by suspected ritualists.
Israel recounted how their abductors took them deep into a dense forest during the journey, presumably with sinister intentions.
News About Nigeria reports that he, however, attributed his miraculous escape to divine intervention.
According to Isreal, his captors decided to release him and even provided him with N200 as transportation fare to return home.
He revealed that the kidnappers had singled him out for release, referring to him as ‘a very bad market’.
In June, Davido’s aide revealed that he met his wife, Sheila as a virgin at age 21.
Isreal made this known while celebrating his wife as she clocked 22.
According to Israel, meeting his wife as a virgin at 21 is not common, as such, makes him a happy man.
He wrote on his Instagram story, “My dearest wife. Meeting you as a full virgin 💯 at 21 makes me the happiest man forever. It is never common in Benin and Nigeria. Never at all. Thanks so much.”
The couple tied the knot in October 2022, with Davido and other celebrities in attendance.
