Adamu Garba a cheiftain of the All Progressives Congress has warned that he and other members and supporters of the All Progressives Congress will protect the government of President Bola Tinubu amid rumors of plans to overthrow the Tinubu-led APC government.
There are rumours that some people were conspiring to topple President Bola Tinubu’s administration as the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal prepares to announce its decision.
News About Nigeria recalls that the Nigerian Army had last week revealed that the Nigerian army had on Sunday held that the report, which “calls on the military to interfere in our democracy,” is “highly unpatriotic, wicked, and an attempt to distract the Armed Forces of Nigeria from performing its constitutional duties.”
The army’s disclosure occurred as the nation’s economic position remains uncertain and as the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) continues to look into ways to restore democracy to Niger following the overthrow of the administration of Mohamed Bazouma.
However, in a tweet on Monday evening, Adamu Garba warned that he will not let anyone or any group spoil the future as envisioned by President Tinubu.
“We believe in President Tinubu, we voted for him, we will protect his government and we will work hard to protect his successes and legacies. We will not let anyone or group to spoil our future as envisioned by the President. The New Nigeria we yearned for is embedded in the RenewedHope agenda. I have a great believe in the RenewedHope programs,” Adamu Garba wrote.
