The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, has congratulated Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa on his victory in the Ondo State gubernatorial election, describing it as a choice for progress.

In a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Edwin Olofu, Ganduje said the election outcome reflects the will of the people of Ondo State.

He remarked that it is evidence of their preference for progress, continuity, and development over retrogression.

The APC Chairman noted that the people of Ondo have demonstrated their trust and confidence in Governor Aiyedatiwa’s vision, leadership, and commitment to their welfare.

He also commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for conducting a transparent, credible, and peaceful election, which he said consolidates Nigeria’s democratic achievements. In addition, he applauded security agencies and other stakeholders for creating a conducive environment that enabled voters to exercise their franchise freely.
