The Senior Pastor of Awaiting the Second Coming of Christ Ministry, Adewale Giwa, has appealed to President Bola Tinubu to fulfill the promises he made to Nigerians during his presidential campaign, News About Nigeria reports.
He made this appeal to the president while speaking with newsmen in Akure, stating that it was deceptive to make promises he had no intention of fulfilling.
The Cleric also urged the president not to wait until millions of souls die of hunger before he begins to do all he promised during his campaign.
According to him, whatever anyone does in life, the reward for it awaits that person in heaven.
Giwa added that nobody, including President Bola Tinubu, came to this world with anything and will definitely return with nothing.
He maintained that it will not take the presidency a lot of time to assess the true value of the nation’s resources and make them accessible to Nigerians.
He, therefore, appealed to the president not to let Nigerians feel dejected and disappointed in his administration.
The Cleric further noted that it was abnormal for the country to move from bad to worse despite the abundance of various natural resources that were domiciled in the country.
“We thought we had gone over bad governance when the tenure of the former president Muhammadu was ending; here comes another one.” He said.
He went on to appeal to the president to do something that will influence the course of history, and also address the issues of Petroleum, security, employment, and infrastructure quickly, maintaining that this will provide succor to Nigerians.
