A young man, whose identity remains unknown, has reportedly died while traveling on a commercial bus to Anambra State.
News About Nigeria gathered the deceased boarded the bus in Enugu State, appearing strong and healthy when the vehicle departed the park at about 2:00 p.m. on Monday.
Passengers disclosed that the man had actively participated in a discussion during the journey, expressing hope for the release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and sharing his thoughts about the creation of Biafra.
However, he became unresponsive after resting his body against another passenger.
Recounting the incident, a fellow passenger, Chijinkem Ugwuanyi, said: “Yesterday afternoon, I was in the bus traveling from Enugu State to Anambra State. Passengers were engaged in different activities—some answering calls, others sharing stories.
The young man was among those telling interesting stories about Biafra. He mentioned that Nnamdi Kanu’s name would be remembered in history and boasted that he would be given an appointment in his community.
“He even said he would trek from Onitsha to Enugu State to celebrate the creation of the new country. At some point, he fell asleep, and no one thought much of it, considering the nature of the road.
Tragically, before reaching his destination, he was found dead, with saliva and blood coming from his mouth. He had no identification, and there was no information to trace his relatives or state of origin.”
The tragic event has left passengers and authorities in shock, with efforts ongoing to identify the deceased and inform his family.
