Popular Nigerian controversial crossdresser, Idris Okuneye also known as Bobrisky has finally left Nigeria after two failed attempts.

Recall that Bobrisky’s first attempt to leave the country on October 22, 2024 failed after he was arrested by operatives of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) at the Seme border in Lagos State.

The crossdresser was said to have been trying to cross over from the Nigerian border into neighbouring Benin Republic when he was arrested.

After his release from detention, Bobrisky was again arrested from an Amsterdam-bound KLM flight at Lagos’s Murtala Muhammed International Airport last Thursday night (October 31, 2024).

News About Nigeria gathered that he had ran out of luck after a socialite, Isaac Fayose, who is the brother of former Ekiti State Governor, Ayo Fayose, posted an Instagram photo of himself with Bobrisky on board the flight.

The post had alerted the NIS, leading to the removal and arrest of the crossdresser from the Amsterdam-bound KLM flight.

However, in a new development today, the socialite announced that he is finally able to leave the country.

Bobrisky made the revelation in a series of posts shared on his Instagram story on Monday morning.

In one of the posts, the crossdresser revealed that he was travelling on a first-class ticket.

He wrote, “See you soon, Nigeria. This girl bought a first-class ticket three times; that’s over 30 million. Raise the bar for this girl.”

Bobrisky’s legal troubles began after he was sentenced to six months in prison for naira abuse.

After his release, reports emerged that he spent only three weeks in confinement before being relocated to an undisclosed private location where he reportedly ‘enjoyed life’.

At the forefront of the drama was social media activist, Martins Otse, known as VeryDarkMan, who released audio recordings featuring Bobrisky discussing the bribery of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) officials to drop money laundering charges against him.

Bobrisky also implicated Human Rights Lawyer, Femi Falana and his son Folarin Falana, known as Falz alleging that their law firm is working towards getting him a presidential pardon for the N10 million.

These implicating remarks led to Bobrisky and VeryDarkMan been invited to the House of Representatives and the crossdresser prevented from leaving the country.
