BBNaija Doyin Says Potential Partners Must Relocate To The Island

Big Brother Naija star, Doyin David, has revealed the shocking reason why she gets into a relationship, News About Nigeria reports.

Speaking in an interview with media personality Olufemi Daniel, the reality TV star disclosed that she usually goes into a relationship for companionship.

According to her, she doesn’t always go into a relationship with the mindset of getting married but just to have fun.

Doyin further noted that her primary concern when going into a relationship is not whether it would end up in marriage but she is particular about the company and companionship she gets from the relationship.

According to her, this is because companionship is far more important than marriage which is mere formality on papers.

Doyin further clarified that sex is part of the companionship which she expects in a relationship, although it is not the primary reason why she dates.

She said, “I never really date to get married; I date to have a good time. I date because I enjoy your company; I date for companionship, whether it leads to marriage or not. I mean, sex is part of companionship, isn’t it? But it’s not the main reason I’m dating. I date for companionship, not for marriage, so if it doesn’t lead to marriage, I’m fine; we had a good time. But if it does okay, I’m fine with doing a life partnership if a marriage doesn’t come up.

“At the end of the day, what is marriage? Is it about signing papers? It’s not important to me, and I’m not trying to talk down on constitutional marriage. Companionship is important to me, so I would like to have a lifetime of companionship, whether we’re married or not. I just want to have someone who is my person for the rest of my life, so it’s not important to me that we have to be legally married.”
