Nigerian music producer and blogger, Samklef, has expressed his disappointment after being blocked by popular artiste Davido following the posting of a video of the singer’s newborn twins.
News About Nigeria reported that Samklef was among the first to share a video of Davido’s newborn twins.
However, this action did not sit well with the artiste, who responded by calling Samklef ‘wicked’ and a ‘clout chaser’.
After a conversation with Davido in which they seemed to resolve their differences, Samklef was taken aback when he discovered that Davido had blocked him on social media.
In a video, Samklef addressed the situation, stating, “I’ve never posted anything negative about you, Davido. But today, Davido, you allowed your emotion to take over. You came to my timeline to disrespect me. First and foremost, we are not equals. You met me in this industry, and we are not on the same level. If you are Davido, you are Davido for yourself.”
Samklef expressed his shock at Davido’s reaction and suggested that he should have celebrated the good news of the twins’ birth instead of resorting to insults.
He also questioned why Davido singled him out when it was someone within his circle who had recorded and shared the video.
Samklef concluded by describing Davido’s decision to block him as ‘pathetic and childish’.
“I sent you a message and I believe that as a wise guy, you should understand.
“First and foremost, who recorded that video? Secondly, the person that recorded that video is from your circle. Why didn’t you blame other people? Why did you choose me? Is it because your other guys didn’t post it first and I posted it first?
“For the fact that you blocked me, it shows that you are pathetic and childish,” he said.
