Owodunni Ibrahim Oluwatosin, popularly known as Primeboy, has voluntarily surrendered to the Lagos State Police Command for questioning as the police continue their effort to unravel the possible cause of Mohbad’s death.

This development comes after the Lagos Police had declared Primeboy wanted and offered a reward of 1 million naira for information leading to his apprehension.

News About Nigeria recalls that the Police earlier detained Mohbad’s former record label boss Naira Marley and his associate Sam Larry over the singer’s death.

Benjamin Hundeyin, the Spokesperson of the Lagos State Police Command, confirmed this turn of events, marking a crucial moment in the ongoing investigation into the case.

Taking to his X account to share the update Mr Hundeyin wrote:  “Following his being declared wanted, Owodunni Ibrahim Oluwatosin aka Primeboy has turned himself in. He has, immediately, been taken into custody for interrogation and other necessary actions.”

Mr. Hundeyin, in his statement, also emphasized the commitment of the Lagos State Police Command to ensure a thorough and diligent investigation into the case. He assured the public that no stone would be left unturned in the pursuit of justice for Mohbad.

Furthermore, the Lagos State Police Command’s pledge to bring all persons found culpable in the death of Mr Ilerioluwa Aloba to justice reflects their unwavering commitment to upholding the rule of law and ensuring that those responsible for any wrongdoing face the consequences of their actions.

As the investigation unfolds and Primeboy’s questioning proceeds, the public will keenly follow the developments in this high-profile case, with hopes that justice will ultimately be served.
