Former Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) All Stars housemate Mercy Eke has recently shared that she contemplated taking a voluntary exit from the show on over five occasions during her time on the reality show.
This revelation comes three days after the conclusion of the show, which saw Ilebaye emerge as the winner.
News About Nigeria reported that while in the Big Brother house, Mercy tearfully requested a voluntary exit during one of her diary sessions, following an altercation with another housemate, Alex.
In an Instagram live video, Mercy reflected on her journey in the house, expressing her gratitude to her fans for their unwavering love and support.
She also discussed the challenges she faced, particularly the moments when she considered leaving the competition.
“It was not easy at all,” Mercy admitted during the live video.
“Do you know when you are feeling something is wrong and you can sense it? I contemplated taking a voluntary exit over five times. I said I was leaving. I could feel things, but I persevered, and I made it to the end and to the top. Thank you, guys,” she added.
Mercy Eke was among the six contestants who reached the finals of the show, but she ended up as the first runner-up, with Ilebaye clinching the grand prize.
The eviction sequence saw Cross exit the show, followed closely by Pere, Adekunle, and then Cee-C.
