Mohbad Autopsy Results Expected In 4 Weeks

An official start date for the preliminary inquest into the death of Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad, has been set by Justice M.A. Dada, the chief coroner of Lagos State.

The preliminary inquest will start on September 29 at the Magistrate Court in Ikorodu, according to an invitation letter sent to Festus Ogun, a lawyer in Lagos.

” I have the directives of the Chief Coroner Lagos State, Hon. Justice M.A Dada, to notify your good office of his Lordship’s order to convoke an inquest into the death of the above-named Late Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba aka Mohbad,” the notice partly read.

News About Nigeria had earlier reported that Mohbad’s death sparked outrage among Nigerians who have since raised concerns about the circumstances surrounding the singer’s passing.

From the singer’s hastily conducted burial to claims of bullying and oppression, Nigerians who were convinced the singer did not pass away naturally have continued to demand justice for the singer and have called for a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the singer’s passing.

However, many have continued to accuse his former label boss Naira Marley following the resurfacing of the petition filed by the singer in June.

The singer had before his demise petitioned the Nigerian police over alleged bullying and oppression he had continued to suffer at the hands of his former label boss and Sam Larry.

However, the police have started their investigation into the singer’s death. A recent police development revealed that the singer’s remains had undergone an autopsy, and Nigerians are still awaiting the results.

Naira Marley, however, said on Tuesday that he was returning to Nigeria to defend his reputation in the midst of the controversy.

The head of Marlians Records, who denied knowing about the artist’s passing, explained that despite bullying his former signee, he loved the singer dearly and would never do anything to end his life.
