Disappointment mounts over Governor Uzodinma’s performance in Imo State, News About Nigeria reports.

Residents of Imo State are expressing growing disappointment with the performance of Governor Hope Uzodinma since he assumed office.

The governor’s ascent to power followed the nullification of Emeka Ihedioha’s election by the Supreme Court, which declared Uzodinma of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the rightful winner of the March 9 election.

According to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) results, Ihedioha had garnered 273,404 votes, surpassing his closest rival, Uche Nwosu of the Action Alliance, who received 190,364 votes. Ifeanyi Ararume of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) secured the third position, with Hope Uzodinma trailing behind.

The Supreme Court’s pronouncement, declaring Uzodinma as the winner, drew widespread criticism, raising doubts about the credibility of the judicial institution and earning the governor the unflattering nickname “Supreme Court Governor.”

Recently, Twitter users have taken to the platform to express their dissatisfaction with Governor Uzodinma’s perceived lackluster performance.

Given how he assumed the governorship through a court order, which many consider a questionable means to attain power.

These complaints primarily centered on the poor condition of the state’s roads, which have had adverse effects on businesses and the daily lives of the people.

Among those contributing to the discussion was a user named Gigi Hadidn’t, who alleged that the governor, who is expected to contest the upcoming gubernatorial election on November 11th, has done little besides parading around in an armored tank and an extensive fleet of cars as part of his convoy.
