Liverpool has signed Alexis Mac Allister from Brighton & Hove Albion for £35m News About Nigeria reports.

Popular transfer market guru Fabrizio Romano disclosed this on his official Twitter Page on Tuesday, pending an official announcement from Liverpool.

Mac Allister completed medicals on Tuesday after the paper works between Brighton and the Reds (Liverpool).

The final documents are said to be signed today, for the player to join the club for a long deal valid until June 2028.

“Liverpool have just signed Alexis Mac Allister for… £35m.

“Reds have now triggered the clause to sign the midfielder after medical tests completed with Brighton’s permission.

“Documents are being signed. Here we go confirmed.”

The 24-year-old Argentine striker is expected to strengthen Liverpool’s forward next season, especially fighting for the English Premier League title.

His signing is said to be timely, following a flap in Liverpool’s forward, as well as the potential exit of the club’s striker and Brazilian forward Firmono.

Liverpool ended the last EPL season rather on a sad note, following their failure to qualify for the UEFA Champions League.

They hope to take the right steps in the upcoming season while ensuring they get back into winning ways.

Meanwhile, Brighton will hope to get a replacement for the 2022 World Cup winner, as well other players with a potential move this summer, especially on-loan Chelsea defender Levi Colwill and midfielder Moises Caicedo.
