Renowned Nigerian music video director, TG Omori, has set his sights on a lofty goal of charging $1 million per music video project.
News About Nigeria confirms that the director, whose real name is ThankGod Omori Jesam, stated that once he reaches that milestone, he will limit himself to shooting only two music videos per year.
TG Omori’s tweet announcing his goal has elicited mixed reactions, with some questioning the exorbitant amount he charges.
He tweeted; “Once it hits a million dollar, I just need 2 videos a year.”
This comes months after street-hop artiste, Portable, was one such individual who criticized TG Omori for his fees. Portable claimed that the director demanded $50,000 (N37 million) for a job he sought from him.
Portable vented his frustrations on Instagram, stating that he could not pay such a high amount when he had family members to support.
He also shared screenshots of their conversations and lamented about the amount being too high.
In a subsequent video, Portable reiterated that he would instead use the money to purchase land in his community.
He questioned why TG Omori charged so much, stating that someone who wishes to help another person would not stress them.
Meanwhile, Habeeb ‘Portable’ Okikiola continues with his controversies after he bragged about purchasing a G-wagon Brabus.
In a new video he shared on his Instagram page, the Zazuu crooner finally gave his fans a view into the ride’s interior.
Portable was captured vibing to one of his songs while parked in front of his restaurant and bar in Ogun state.
