Genevieve Nnaji,

Nollywood actress and screen goddess, Genevieve Nnaji, has made a comeback to social media to celebrate her 44th birthday.

The actress had remained silent on her social media platforms for a while, which led to concerns from her fans.

However, she returned to Instagram to share a video of herself surrounded by friends and family with a birthday cake in front of her.

She also took time to appreciate her colleagues who remembered her special day, reposting their birthday messages with loved emojis.

Genevieve Nnaji reposted the birthday message from Stella Damasus, Uche Jombo, Waje, Funke Akindele, and Ini Edo accompanied by loved emojis.

News About Nigeria recalls that last year, Genevieve Nnaji also remained silent on social media as she turned 43, causing her fans to worry.

Before leaving her social media platforms, she shared a cryptic post that fueled speculation that she might have lost someone close to her.

She posted quotes from the Quran, a prayer mat, and a grave with a caption that read, “It’s just a dream. Please…”

This led to calls from her concerned fans for people close to the actress to check up on her.

However, Genevieve Nnaji’s recent return to social media has put to rest the concerns of her fans, and many have taken to social media to celebrate with the screen goddess.

Genevieve Nnaji was the first actor to win the Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role in 2005. Her contributions to Nollywood were recognized in 2011 when she was honored as a Member of the Order of the Federal Republic by the Nigerian government.

Nnaji made her directorial debut with the film Lionheart, which was the first Nigerian submission for the Oscars and the first Netflix film from Nigeria. Unfortunately, the movie was disqualified for having most of its dialogue in English.

In 2020, Nnaji, who has spent decades in the movie industry, was featured in two new books by the publisher and Editor in Chief of Yes International! magazine, Azuh Arinze, alongside several other celebrities and business executives.
