President Bola Tinubu has announced the appointment of eight individuals as special advisers, according to a statement from the State House Director of Information, Abiodun Oladunjoye, News About Nigeria reports.

The newly appointed special advisers include Dele Alake, who will serve as the Special Adviser for Special Duties, Communications, and Strategy.

Yau Darazo has been appointed as the Special Adviser on Political and Intergovernmental Affairs.

Tinubu has also selected Nuhu Ribadu as his Special Adviser on Security, while Wale Edun will take on the role of Special Adviser on Monetary Policies.

In addition, Olu Verheijen has been appointed as the Special Adviser on Energy, and Zachaeus Adedeji will serve as the Special Adviser on Revenue.

The remaining appointments include John Uwajumogu as the Special Adviser for Industry, Trade, and Investment, and Salma Anas as the Special Adviser for Health.

The statement emphasized that these appointments will take effect immediately.

The appointments cover a wide range of areas, including communications, political affairs, security, monetary policies, energy, revenue, industry, trade, and investment, as well as health.
