The Nigerian Police Force has arrested two females, identified as Adama Joseph and Oreoluwa Davies, in connection with the robbery and murder of a prominent Kwara socialite, Adeniyi Ojo, News About Nigeria gathered.
The incident unfolded as the suspects lured the victim into engaging in a threesome and BDSM (bondage, discipline, sadism, and masochism) with them after he declined to give money to one of the suspects, Adama.
The Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, paraded the suspects in Abuja on Wednesday and revealed the details of the case.
According to Adejobi, police operatives arrested the two students from Kwara State Polytechnic on October 6, 2023, following their involvement in the robbery and murder of Adeniyi Ojo, who was the son of Chief Emmanuel Ojo, a prominent figure in Ilorin, Kwara State.
The suspects tied the victim under the pretence of engaging in a sexual encounter involving BDSM and a threesome.
When the victim did not comply with their demands for money, they resorted to drugging and suffocating him, ultimately leading to his untimely demise.
In interviews with the media, one of the suspects, Adama, shed light on the events that transpired.
She revealed that the victim had persistently demanded a sexual relationship with her, which she had consistently refused.
Adama cited a prior working relationship with the victim and her financial struggles as reasons for her reluctance. Her friend, Oreoluwa, corroborated this account.
Adama and Oreoluwa, who had both completed their National Diploma (ND) programs at Kwara Polytechnic before the incident, explained that they initially intended to steal from the victim.
To accomplish this, they proposed a BDSM encounter, and the victim agreed to a threesome with both of them.
During the encounter, Oreoluwa restrained the victim’s hands and legs, and Adama attempted to gag him to prevent any noise.
However, the victim resisted and began shouting, prompting the suspects to drug him with Refnol (Rohypnol).
When the victim ceased making noise, the suspects assumed he was pretending and decided to leave.
It was only later, after the police arrested them in Ogun State, that they learned of the victim’s tragic death.
“We have finished our ND programme at Kwara Polytechnic before the incident happened. We didn’t plan to kill him. On that particular day, we went with the intention to steal from him, so we told him that we wanted to do BDSM, and he agreed to have a threesome with me and my friend (Oreoluwa),” Adama said.
