No Cover-Up In Priscilla’s Death, Investigations Ongoing – FCT Police

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has responded to recent social media claims, clarifying that investigations are ongoing into the alleged murder of Miss Priscilla Ocheme by her boyfriend, Ekosuehi Iseh Elvis, also known as Richard.

News About Nigeria gathered that the incident allegedly occurred at his residence in Lugbe, Abuja.

In a statement addressing rumours of a possible cover-up, the police confirmed that the suspect, Ekosuehi, was invited for questioning on September 24, 2024.

According to preliminary findings, the 30-year-old suspect, a native of Oredo, Edo State, had reconnected with Priscilla, whom he met at Madonna University, after losing contact in 2019.

The police report stated that on September 22, 2024, Priscilla left her family home in Karu after a minor argument with her mother and went to Ekosuehi’s residence.

She later left that evening but was involved in a fatal motorcycle accident at Amala Moore Junction, Pyakasa, while returning home.

Two labourers, Jerry Amos and Moses Bala, witnessed the accident and rushed her to Pyakasa Health Centre.

She was later transferred to the Federal Medical Centre, Jabi, where she was pronounced dead by the attending doctor.

The FCT Police Command denied any claims of foul play and stressed their commitment to professionalism in the investigation.

They assured the public of a thorough and transparent investigation and promised to provide updates as more details emerge.

In their statement, the police reaffirmed their integrity, stating, “The FCT Police Command prides itself on its professionalism and integrity in investigative processes and would never tarnish its reputation with unethical practices or actions that compromise public trust.”
