Sheila Courage Clarifies Wedding Rumours: It Was A Shoot, Not An Actual Wedding

Sheila Courage, the estranged wife of Israel Afeare, popularly known as Israel DMW and logistics manager for Nigerian singer Davido, is reportedly preparing to remarry.

Sheila recently shared a pre-wedding video on her social media, revealing her new partner, though she chose to keep his identity private.

In the heartfelt video, Sheila expressed her belief in love and her determination not to give up on finding it, even if it means trying multiple times.

“I identify as a hopeless romantic because I believe everyone deserves a perfect love story. And I don’t care how many times you’ve to try. I believe it’s worth fighting for and love is worth going on any journey until you find your love story. And I’m glad to have found mine,” she said.

Addressing her fiancé, Sheila added, “Thank you for doing this with me. I promise to not take it for granted. I love you.”

The man, whose face was not shown in the video, reciprocated the sentiment, saying, “I love you!”

News About Nigeria reports that Sheila’s upcoming marriage comes after her separation from Israel DMW.

The couple married on October 20, 2022, in a traditional ceremony in Benin City, but separated just eight months later amid allegations of domestic violence and infidelity.

Israel DMW publicly claimed that Sheila cannot remarry, citing that she has not returned the full bride price.

He also alleged that he invested significantly in her lifestyle, including financial support, lavish gifts, and a luxurious wedding.

The split between Israel and Sheila was messy, with Israel accusing Sheila of changing her behaviour after marriage and setting new standards for him.

He also claimed that she was dissatisfied with his online behaviour, particularly his interactions with Davido.

In response, Sheila accused Israel of threats and harassment, including an incident where she claimed he sent hoodlums to intimidate her mother at her shop.

Sheila expressed concerns for her and her family’s safety, asking the public to hold Israel responsible if any harm were to come to them.
