Popular Nigerian Afrobeats singer Davido has sparked various conversations on social media after he revealed that the money sprayed at his wedding last week didn’t tally with what they saw when they got home.
News About Nigeria recalls that Davido and his wife, Chioma, tied the knot traditionally in a lavish wedding held in Lagos on Tuesday, June 25, 2024.
Their wedding, which shut down not just Lagos but also the internet, had dignitaries and celebrities in attendance.
Many videos that surfaced on social media showed Davido and Chioma being sprayed with wads of dollars.
Also, lots of guests had gifted them millions of cash, both in naira and in foreign currencies.
However, Davido has taken to the comment section of one of the videos circulating on the internet to raise alarm, that the cash he was sprayed with in the wedding videos doesn’t match the amount they counted at home.
He wrote, “The video of all the money dem spray is and wetin we carry go house no Dey tally.”
