Nigerian musician and pastor, Olubankole Wellington, popularly known as Banky W on Thursday appreciated God for helping him scale through another cancer tumor surgery.
News About Nigeria gathered that the singer shared his recent journey with cancer in a post on his official Instagram account.
In the post, he captioned, “Final Score: Christ 4 – Cancer Tumors – 0,” Banky W appreciated his wife, Adesua Etomi and other members of his family, friends, and pastors for standing with him throughout the period of his surgery and recovery.
He also lauded the medical team that worked tirelessly for his recovery.
Banky W further encouraged other people going through similar experiences to not lose faith, noting that they would come out stronger.
His post partly reads, “Sometimes, your faith in God will not prevent the storms from coming, but it will carry you through them. Faith won’t always stop you from hurting, but it will help you heal, and it will help you heal. He Posted this testimony to encourage anyone out there who is going through a challenge. It might seem bigger than you, but greater is He that is in you than anything you will face in this world.
