Leave Peacefully Or Face The Law – Nigerian Navy To Criminals In N-Delta Region

The Nigerian Navy Ship, NNS Delta, has issued a stern warning to criminals operating within its Areas of Operation, cautioning them to vacate the territory or face the full force of the law.

The warning was delivered by Commodore Abba Muhsin, the Commander of the NNS Delta, shortly after the quarterly Route March conducted by the command’s personnel.

The exercise, led by Commodore Muhsin, commenced at the Warri Navy base at approximately 6:15 a.m. and followed a designated route spanning Okere Road, Airport Road, the NPA expressway, and concluding back at the Navy base.

In his address, Commodore Muhsin said that the areas of operation under NNS Delta’s jurisdiction are not safe havens for criminals.

He urged them to cease their illicit activities and allow law-abiding citizens to conduct their businesses without fear.

“NNS Delta Areas of Operation are not for the criminals; we are calling on them to leave peacefully while the good people do their legitimate businesses.

“As long as you want to stay with us, we will definitely get you, therefore, leave before the law catches up on you,” he warned.

Commodore Muhsin emphasised the importance of the Route March in showcasing the Navy’s readiness, physical condition, and military culture among its members.

“This particular Route March falls within the core values of the Nigerian Navy, which are: teamwork, professionalism and integrity.

“The Route March covers the teamwork aspect, which is why we are together and feeling the impact together.”

Expressing gratitude for the support of the Delta community, particularly the residents of Warri, Commodore Muhsin said the Navy is dedicated to ensuring their safety and security.

Before concluding his address, Commodore Muhsin urged naval personnel to exercise caution in their conduct, especially on social media platforms.
