The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that candidates of the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) can now print their notification slips, News About Nigeria reports.
The board made the announcement in a statement in Abuja on Thursday by its spokesperson, Dr. Fabian Benjamin.
Benjamin noted that the slips are only available for candidates who successfully registered for the 2024 UTME, adding that the slip contained the date, venue, and time of their examination.
The exams are scheduled to start on April 19th, and the candidates have been advised to print their slips before then, as this will enable them to locate the venue of their centre, and prevent lateness on their scheduled examination date.
“All candidates who have registered for the 2024 UTME scheduled to start on Friday, April 19, are urged to print their notification slips before the date.
“This is for them to know the date, venue, and time of their respective examinations, as well as some other vital information.
“To print the slip, candidates are to visit the JAMB website: www.jamb.gov.ng; click on “2024 UTME Slip Printing,” input their registration number, then click on print,” the statement reads.
He also noted that the slip can be printed anywhere, provided there is an internet-enabled computer.
The 2024 UTME is scheduled to start on Friday, April 19, and end on Monday, April 29.
Prior to this time, reports had been flying around that the JAMB slip was ready for printing, but the Board debunked it, describing it as false report and urged candidates to disregard such reports.
