Watch Portable Beat Up Charles Okocha In A Boxing Match [Video]

Controversial street singer Habeeb Olalomi Oyegbile, widely known as Portable, has emerged victorious in a boxing match against Nollywood actor Charles Okocha, News About Nigeria reports.

The long-anticipated fight was organised by Heritage Boxing Entertainment and took place at Landmark Beach in Victoria Island, Lagos State.

The boxing spectacle commenced shortly after 1 a.m. and continued for approximately 40 minutes, ending in Portable’s triumph over Okocha.

The event was organised as a means to settle the ongoing dispute between the two celebrities.

Portable had alleged that Okocha breached a contract between them involving N40 million.

According to the ‘Zazzu’ crooner, Okocha cheated him out of the money, only sending him a small amount, contrary to a contractual agreement.

However, it is not exactly clear if there was real animosity between the two celebrities or if it was just a publicity stunt.

Although many have speculated that the match was just for publicity and nothing more.

In a related development, News About Nigeria reported that actress Akinyanju Omobolarinde, better known by her stage name Ashabi Simple, revealed that she is not in a relationship with Portable for money.

The actress appreciated Portable’s kind actions in an interview with Saturday Beats, but she spoke about her independence as someone who had done multiple jobs and established a career in the film industry.

According to her, she has worked in different roles, including as a bus conductor, bartender, and jewellery saleswoman, before venturing into filmmaking.

“If I am dating him because of his money, I would be tired by now,” she said. “No one forces Portable to do anything, and I do not have a problem with that, because I do a lot for myself.

“I have always been like that. Before I started my clothing business, I worked as a bus conductor, bartender, and I sold pieces of jewellery before I started attending filmmaking class and working in the film industry as a manager. And, that was where I started making money.”
