Award-winning Nigerian singer, Burna Boy, has given a glimpse of what would happen if he had access to his X account, formerly known as Twitter.

In a recent chat, the ‘Last Last’ hitmaker admitted to having a Twitter account but revealed that his team controls it, not him.

Burna Boy explained that his management team restricts his access to Twitter because he doesn’t have the best relationship with the platform.

He believes that if he could use Twitter freely, there would be a lot of activity, and things would get quite intense.

He went on to mention that he gets disrespected a lot on the internet and he doesn’t like that.

“I don’t like people on Twitter. I have an account but they take me out. They (management) don’t let me at it. If I have access to my account, everywhere will be shaking every day. The ground will be elevating. It’s just all just based on my feelings.

“I don’t like disrespect but the internet. They always try to disrespect me on the internet. So, they don’t let me at them.

“I have to be a superstar that everything is beneath. I have to look down on these things. If not, the ground will elevate. I will spend too much time there. Honestly, I will spend a lot of time there,” he said.

News About Nigeria reported that Burna Boy stated that he dislikes Twitter users and initially believed the ‘Twitter madness’ was limited to Nigerians on the platform.

However, after travelling across the world, he realised that this behaviour was a global phenomenon.

The self-acclaimed ‘African Giant’ recounted his experiences in various countries, including Kenya and South Africa, where he observed similar patterns of behaviour among Twitter users.

He also mentioned his observations in the United States, where different groups of Twitter users exhibited distinctive characteristics and affiliations.
