Winner of the Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) All Stars show Ilebaye Odiniya has expressed her intention to give a substantial portion of her winnings, specifically N12 million, as a tithe to her church.

News About Nigeria reported that the reality star emerged as the winner of the Big Brother Naija All Stars season on October 1, 2023.

During the prize presentation ceremony, the 22-year-old Kogi-born model secured the N120 million prize money and a brand-new car.

In a recent statement, Ilebaye shared her gratitude to God for the grace she received, emphasising that once the N120 million enters her account, she won’t use it for personal purchases but rather as a token of thanks to her faith community.

“Once the N120 million gets to my account, I won’t buy anything; I will give my tithe to God to thank him for this grace he has given me,” Ilebaye said.

In an interview with Saturday Beats shortly after being presented with her prize, she said she didn’t rely on any strategy to win the show. Instead, she relied on prayers.

“I did not use any strategy (to win the game). The only strategy I used was to pray to God. I never imagined that I would win the competition.

“During my first participation on the show (in 2022), I spent only three weeks. When I realised that they were bringing stars (for this season), I thought I would last for a maximum of three weeks. I did not know I would be the winner,” she said.

Asked if she had any regrets about her time in the house, Ilebaye said, “The only regret is that I wish I danced very well at the parties. But, there was so much fun and adventure in the house. So, I really don’t have any regret.”
