Prominent Nigerian televangelist Apostle Johnson Suleman has offered scholarship to six children of a Moi-Moi seller during a church service recently, News About Nigeria confirmed.
In a viral social media video, the founder of Omega Fire Ministries International called in a young woman who came with her children to hawk bean pudding, popularly known as Moi-Moi at the church.
He demanded to see what she was selling, and one of her daughters swiftly ran outside and returned with the beans pudding, in the company of two of her brothers.
Apostle Suleman asked the woman what she wanted him to do for her, “Madam what do you want me to do for you?” and the woman responded she wanted her children to be trained in school.
While the lady and her six children did not prepare to attend the church service, she received favours from the cleric, which included the sum of one million nairas to add to her Moi-Moi business and an academic scholarship for all her six children.
“They will give you one million naira to put into this business,” the man of God said.
Booming with excitement and unspeakable joy, the unidentified woman knelt down, tearing in appreciation to the man of God. She kept on nodding to all the questions the man of God asked her about her children and her business.
After Apostle Suleman’s pronouncement, he emphasized that God does not help an idol person while encouraging his worshipers to start a trade. “Even if God wants to help you, start a trade,” he said.
