Controversial influencer, Daniel Regha, on Tuesday, slammed the Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party, LP, in the February 2023 election, Peter Obi for his silence over the death of Nigerian musician, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba popularly known as Mohbad.
Regha said this in a post on his official X account where he noted that Peter Obi visited the lady attacked on election day because she is his supporter but he has been silent over Mohbad’s death.
“Peter Obi could visit the lady attacked on election day cos Obidients sang her praises, but is yet to visit late Mohbad’s family or even acknowledge his death.”
The X influencer also stated that politicians in Nigeria have selected empathy because they only sympathize with people when they get votes from them.
“This was how he and other influential politicians kept silent after Deborah was killed (to secure votes). The selective empathy says a lot,” he stated.
News About Nigeria also recalled that, Mohbad who is a former signee of Marlian Records owned by Azeez Faashola, popularly known as Naira Marley died on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, and was subsequently buried on Wednesday in the Ikorodu area of Lagos State, sparking controversies about his actual cause of death.
