Wike Says He'll Transform Abuja Before 2027

A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, Daniel Bwala has alleged that President Bola Tinubu is using the former River State governor Nyesom Wike to weaken the opposition party.

Making this allegation after President Tinubu said that Wike who currently serves as the minister of FCT was more than a minister.

News About Nigeria recalls that President Tinubu had earlier said that the former Rivers governor was more than a minister suggesting that Wike was his adviser and his admirer.

However, reacting to the president’s comment in a tweet on Saturday, Bwala alleged that Wike was being used by Tinubu to help actualize their plans for a one-party state.

“When I said Wike is being used by PBAT to weaken PDP to give effect to their plans for a one-party state, some thought it as a funny talk. Now you have heard, PBAT said Wike is not only his minister but also his adviser,” Bwala wrote.

He alleged that every anti-party action taken by the former Rivers governor was at the authorization of President Tinubu.

He added that heavy hitters from the PDP across the nation would team up with labour, other parties, and significant APC stalwarts from the North West to form an unstoppable party that would antagonise the APC like a tornado if the leadership of the main opposition party does not resolve the Wike issue immediately.

Recall that the FCT minister despite being a member of the PDP worked against the victory of his party at the 2023 general election. Wike took the route of working against his party after he fell out with his party’s candidate, Atiku Abubakar.
