Jadon Sancho Returns To Solo Training At Carrington Following Ten Hag Dispute

Jadon Sancho has made his way to Manchester United’s training ground at Carrington, following a public dispute with manager Erik ten Hag, News About Nigeria reports.

The England international found himself at odds with United boss earlier this month when the Dutchman publicly criticized his training efforts following United’s 3-1 defeat to Arsenal.

Sancho responded to Ten Hag’s criticism on social media and has reportedly refused to apologize for his post, which was subsequently deleted. In response to Sancho’s actions, Ten Hag, with the backing of Manchester United decided to exile him from the first team and assigned him to train individually.

The 23-year-old winger arrived at Carrington early Friday morning in a stylish matte black G-Wagon, while keeping a low profile, with his face hidden from view.

Manchester United officially announced Ten Hag’s decision to keep Sancho on a personal training program away from the first-team group, pending the resolution of a squad discipline issue.

Sancho had taken a three-month break from the team last season to focus on his mental health and had seemed to be on good terms with Ten Hag upon his return. However, the public dispute arose after he was accused of lacking effort during training sessions.

In his response to the situation, Sancho stated, “I will not allow people to say things that are completely untrue. I have conducted myself in training very well this week. I believe there are other reasons for this matter that I won’t go into. I’ve been a scapegoat for a long time, which isn’t fair.”

He emphasized his commitment to playing for the club and expressed his desire to contribute positively to the team.

“I will continue to fight for this badge no matter what!” Sancho’s recent outburst had sparked speculation about a potential loan move to Saudi Pro League side Al-Ettifaq, but the deal fell through due to a £50 million obligation to buy clause.
