The All Progressives Congress (APC) National Secretariat is humming with activity as party members and employees respond to Adamu’s departure.

According to News About Nigeria, there was a tense environment, with some people showing rage and others despair.

“It’s a relief he’s gone. Since returning, he has caused suffering and suffering to several employees. Thank God, our prayers have been heard today.

We have hoped for a day like this. Let him go; we are sick of him,” a secretariat employee reportedly told the Daily Sun.

On Sunday afternoon, Adamu reportedly handed the President’s chief of staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, his letter of resignation.

Another source, a founding member of the APC, asserted that Adamu resigned because two powerful party members were organizing opposition to him before the NEC.
