Kate Ka3na Jones, a well-known personality from the Big Brother Naija Lockdown Show, recently suffered a heartbreaking loss as her husband passed away.
News About Nigeria reports that despite the absence of an official statement from the 27-year-old Rivers born entrepreneur at the time of this report, photos depicting her in a state of grief have emerged online.
According to reports, Ka3na’s husband was laid to rest in London on May 16, leaving her alone to care for their daughter. In January 2022, the entrepreneur and businesswoman took to her official Twitter account to announce that she was legally single.
In her tweet, she emphasized that her ex-husband, whom she referred to as Mr. Jones, would always hold a special place in her heart as the father of their beloved daughter.
Furthermore, she expressed her decision to dissolve her marriage and move abroad, acknowledging that it had been an incredibly difficult choice to make without the support of her family and friends.
Ka3na married Jones, aged 64.
Their paths crossed in Kate’s hometown in Rivers State.
During an interview, Kate opened up about her desire to have a child with her husband.
However, due to his age and declining health, they opted for Invitro Fertilization (IVF) to fulfill their dream of starting a family.
Reflecting on this, Kate said due to her husband’s advanced age of 64, he experienced a decline in physical strength compared to his earlier years.
Kate felt a deep sense of importance in giving her husband the gift of fatherhood, which led them to consider In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) as an option.
Regrettably, their initial attempt at IVF did not yield the desired result.
However, their perseverance paid off, as they were blessed with success on their second try.
