CEO Of Iyare Motors, Omoruyi Is Dead

Abel Omoruyi, a well-known transporter and CEO/Chairman of Iyare Motors, has died, News About Nigeria has learnt.

His death was announced by Mr. Igbinidu Charles Osaretin on Facebook.

Iyare Motors is one of Nigeria’s most popular transport companies,  headquartered in Benin-City, Edo State.

Although the exact cause of Omoruyi’s death is unknown, it has been reported that he had been unwell for some time.

Omoruyi was an astute businessman, philanthropist, and community leader.

He was known for introducing ultra-modern bus transportation services in Nigeria.

His passing has caused an outpouring of grief and tributes on social media.

Mr. Igbinidu Charles Osaretin expressed his condolences to Omoruyi’s family, writing: “Egba Community and millions of your admirers will surely miss you.”

In 2014, Omoruyi’s wife and daughter were kidnapped in Benin-City’s Ugbor area on their way home from work.
