The internet space broke loose on Friday with reactions trailing Paris Saint Germaine player, Achraf Hakimi, who has been praised and dubbed ‘man of the year’ on Twitter for his smart move on his wife, Hiba Abouk who filed for divorce and demanded half of the player’s wealth.

Abouk was dismayed as the court informed her that her millionaire husband legally owns nothing, as all his assets are registered under his mother’s name.

Abouk, 36, had expected to receive an equal share of Hakimi’s €70 million fortune upon separation.

The 24-year-old football star appears to have no property, cars, houses, jewelry, or even clothes registered in his name.

Reacting to the development, former Nigerian goalkeeper, Andrew Aikhoumogbe has admonished Super Eagles and African players to learn from the PSG star, News About Nigeria gathered.

Aikhoumogbe said that Hakimi played a smart game against his wife’s wishes.

Hakimi who earns €1 million per month, started dating Abouk in 2018 when he was 19 years old and she was 31.

This recent development comes after Hakimi had earlier been accused of raping a woman he invited to his matrimonial home while his wife and family were in Dubai.

The Moroccan International is currently under investigation over the allegation.

The divorce settlement and allegations of infidelity have made headlines, shedding light on the personal life of the high-profile football player.

The situation has left Abouk empty-handed in her pursuit of a share of Hakimi’s wealth as his assets are registered under his mother’s name, creating a complex legal situation in their divorce proceedings.
