Wanted criminals in India identified as Asad and Ghulamb have been killed by the Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (UPSTF) team in Jhansi.

News About Nigeria confirmed in a report that Asad was the son of infamous mafia-turned-politician Atiq Ahmed, while Ghulam was the son of Maksudan.

The criminals had been involved in the murder case of Umesh Pal in Prayagraj.

According to a further report, the UPSTF team had been informed about the presence of the two criminals in Jhansi and had gone in search of them.

When the team began the search and found their hideout, Asad and Ghulam allegedly opened fire on them, leading to a fierce gun battle.

The battle had lasted for several hours and the two criminals were eventually killed.

The police are currently on an investigation concerning the matter to identify and other members that are secretly connected to them.

The families of the victims have expressed relief and gratitude to the UPSTF team for bringing the criminals to justice.
