Married Female NYSC Members Can Apply For Redeployment To Their Husband's Location - NYSC

On Monday, the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) announced that married female prospective corps members (PCMs) who have been posted to states where their husbands do not reside can request redeployment.

The NYSC implored all married female PCMs in 2024 Batch B, Stream 2, to apply for redeployment to their husbands’ location.

The information was passed on by the scheme via a statement released on it’s official X account on Monday.

In the statement, the NYSC explained that the married female PCMs should report to the nearest NYSC orientation camp for their state of deployment to be changed.

The statement noted that the PCMs should ensure that they come with their marriage certificate, which is a proof of their marriage, and other relevant documents.

The scheme said, “ATTENTION ALL 2024 BATCH ”B” STREAM II MARRIED FEMALE PROSPECTIVE CORPS MEMBERS! All married female Prospective Corps members (PCM’s) who are deployed to states where their husbands are not domiciled should report to the nearest NYSC orientation camp for their state of deployment to be changed. They are to report during the period of registration at the orientation camps with copies of their marital and other relevant documents as evidence. Once the change is made, it will reflect on their dashboard for reprinting.”

News About Nigeria earlier reported that the scheme announced the release of the 2024 Batch ‘B’ Stream 2 call-up letters for prospective corps members in the early hours of Monday.

According to the NYSC, the orientation camp for the stream is expected to start on August 28, 2024, and close on September 17, 2024.
