Chaos have continued to trail the sex scandal involving Baltasar Ebang Engonga, the Director General of Equatorial Guinea’s National Financial Investigation Agency (ANIF), News About Nigeria reports.
In a recent development, the husband of one of the women caught in the scandal with the Director has confronted her with the video of the sexcapede.
Recall that Engonga is currently embroiled in a massive sex scandal, after authorities discovered over 300 tapes of him with various women, including married women, on his computer.
He was caught on tape engaging in sexual activities with multiple women, including his brother’s wife, cousin, and the sister of Equatorial Guinea’s President.
The scandal came to light during an investigation into alleged fraud.
Following the scandal, another woman who was involved in the leaked sex tape committed suicide due to shame and other consequences that came with the exposure.
The scandal is also likely to bring an end to the marriages of the women involved, as this will erode the trusts that once existed in those marriages.
Varying reactions have however trailed the scandal, as it seems Netizens are on both sides of the divide.
Some are of the opinion that the husbands of the women involved are to be blamed, arguing that if their husbands had satisfied and paid more attention to them, the women would have no need to seek for succor outside of their marriages.
Others have condemned and judged the women for leaving the sanctity of their marriages and involving in a disgraceful sex romp, with the Director.
They noted that the women should be blamed for choosing to satisfy their sexual fantasies with a stranger rather than communicate same with their husbands.
People have also expressed their sympathy to the wife and children of Engonga, stressing that this will leave a bitter taste in their mouths.
They also expressed concern for their mental health and advised that close friends and family should stick close to them to avoid them taking drastic decisions or actions.
This scandal is arguably, one of the biggest scandals that has hit the region in a long time.
