With the current economic hardship in the country, popular online shopping platform Jumia Nigeria has announced its annual Black Friday sales, slated to run from November 1 to 30, 2024, News About Nigeria reports.

According to Jumia Nigeria, this year’s Black Friday campaign focuses on easing the financial stress on Nigerians due to the hardships bedeviling the nation.

Giving details on the sales, the platform revealed in a statement released on Monday that the campaign will run every day from November 1 to November 30, 2024.

It further stated that the theme of the campaign is ‘No Too Calculate,’ meaning that shopping would be so affordable that buyers would not need to overthink their purchases.

The shopping platform also revealed that it has expanded its pickup stations across the country to allow Nigerians, regardless of their location, to enjoy the sales.

Speaking on this, the Chief Executive Officer of Jumia Nigeria, Sunil Natraj, said, “We are excited to launch another Jumia Black Friday. For us, this campaign is about making e-commerce more accessible to consumers in Nigeria.”

“Additionally, our expanding network of pickup stations ensures that even more consumers, regardless of their location, can benefit from the convenience of online shopping. As we grow, our focus remains on creating real value for both our consumers and sellers through our extensive ecosystem.”

Natraj further listed this year’s supporting brands as Xiaomi, the platinum partner, alongside other notable brands like Oraimo, Nivea, Infinix, Tecno, and LG.

He also called on Nigerians to take advantage of the sales period to purchase various items at lower prices.
