This was confirmed by a reliable source who spoke on the condition of anonymity in the state.

The source also disclosed that Justice Adeyeye had been indisposed since July 12, 2023, following a serious injury he sustained when a section of the state high court complex wall collapsed on him in his office in Ado Ekiti, the Ekiti state capital.

The association, in a statement, extended its condolences to the family of the late judge and prayed for the strength to bear the great loss.

The condolence message read: “With deep sorrow in our hearts and in total submission to the will of God, FIDA Ekiti consoles with the family of the Chief Judge of Ekiti State, Hon. Justice Oyewole Adeyeye, on his call to glory.
