NAFDAC: Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin’s Miracle Products Not Registered

The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has issued a warning to Nigerians regarding the activities of Christ Mercy Land Delivery Ministries, led by Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin, for allegedly using the agency’s name to mislead the public.

News About Nigeria reports that NAFDAC stated that none of the products advertised by the ministry are registered with the agency.

In a statement signed by its Director General, Prof. Mojisola Adeyeye, NAFDAC said it has received multiple petitions from concerned citizens about the ministry’s promotion of unregistered “Miracle Water” and “Miracle Soap” claimed to have healing powers.

Prophet Fufeyin reportedly told his congregation that these products were NAFDAC-approved, prompting the public to seek confirmation from the agency.

The products in question include various types of “miracle” water and healing items, which the ministry advertised for curing ailments, including infertility.

However, after investigating, NAFDAC found no records of these products being registered or approved for sale.

The agency’s Delta State Coordinator visited the ministry and purchased one of the products for further investigation.

Despite evidence, the ministry’s officials denied involvement in the production of the miracle products, claiming that only their logo appeared on the items.

On further investigation, NAFDAC discovered that the ministry had entered into a production contract with Globod Table Water, an arrangement the agency said violated regulations as the products were unregistered.

Consequently, the Globod Table Water facility was sealed for aiding in the production and sale of unwholesome items.

NAFDAC has urged the public to stop patronising these products, warning that they are not scientifically verified.

The agency reiterated its commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of Nigerians and warned against the illegal production of unregistered products by any organization.

The investigation into the activities of Christ Mercy Land Delivery Ministries is ongoing.
