Human Rights Activist Aisha Yesufu has urged Nigerians to focus on ridding the country of criminality, News About Nigeria reports.
She made this call in a statement via her verified handle on X on Tuesday.
She noted that the important job is building the nation and destroying the structure of criminality, adding that it will require a lot of energy commitment and purpose.
The hero of the 2020 #EndSars Protest also urged well-meaning Nigerians to ignore those who want to continue dwelling on the 2023 elections, while having no input on governance.
According to her, there is no need of dissipating energy on them or with them, but people should rather focus on destroying the structure of criminality and freeing Nigeria.
She maintained that good must be more tenacious than evil, stressing that if those destroying Nigeria don’t give up, then those fighting for the betterment of Nigeria have no business giving up
She wrote, “There is a job of Nation building and destruction of criminality of structure to be done and that will require a lot of energy commitment and purpose.
“It is time to allow the riggers of 2023 election who have nothing to say about governance and focus solely on 2023 election even after a year the space to continue to wallow in 2023 exclusively.
“No need of dissipating energy on them or with them.
“Just focus on destroying the structure of criminality and free Nigeria.
“Remember, good must be more tenacious than evil!
“If those destroying Nigeria don’t give up then those fighting for the betterment of Nigeria have no business giving up!”
