The Governor of Kano State, Abba Yusuf, has issued a directive for all Ministry, Department, and Agency accounts to be closed with immediate effect, News About Nigeria reports.
He issued this directive to the Accountant-General of the state at the ongoing meeting with the Chairman of the Kano State Internal Revenue Service and heads of MDAs at the Government House being held today.
He noted that the decision was adopted to ensure that all government revenue is properly accounted for and utilised for the development of the state.
